My Happy Place
The day was nice and over cast, it was the perfect weather to go to the beach. The water was a deep rich deep blue and the sand was as soft as a teddy bear. Listening you can hear the sound of the waves crashing and the cool sea breeze whistling by. I slapped on the sunscreen and ran towards the water, like I have never been to the ocean. The little kids were building sandcastles and burying each other. Finally I was running through the shallows of the water getting closer and closer to the incoming wave. I dove straight through the underneath the wave, it wrapped around me like a blanket. I popped back up to the surface, looking around by the surrounding scenery. Swimming out further and further until my feet couldn't touch the sand on the bottom. Finally get out and dry off laying on on my beach towel listening to the calming waves. Sandwiches at the beach are a classic for my family and I. Every time we come we always being sandwiches and make them right then and there. Every time I go to the beach it is always so relaxing plus maybe thats way people always call the beach their happy place.
