huntington Library TRip
On April 29, 2015 my class and I took a trip to the Huntington Library. We had to be at school at 7:15 in the morning! Then we got on to the bus at 7:30 and we were on our way to the library. The bus ride seemed like forever because it was a very boring ride. Once we got there, there was a nice lady who greeted us off the bus. My group and I first went to go see the European art in Mr. and Mrs. Huntington’s mansion. After we went to eat lunch and then we were free to go with our group wherever we wanted to. So we first went to the Japanese gardens that were beyond beautiful. Then we went to walk around (I don’t think we knew where we were going we just kept walking) we found the lily ponds that were my favorite. After we saw the desert garden (which was a hard climb) we were hot and sweaty and ready to go into the air-conditioned room, which was the library. Once we got into the library it was nice and cool so we decided to stay there for a little bit. Then Ms. Stronks gave us sometime to go into the gift shop and then we would meet up. After we all got together we took a couple group photos. Then we left to go back on the boring bus. This time when we got onto the bus Nathan and Blake got this British breath spray that was suppose to work but it only tasted like the Listerine mouth wash. Over all my favorite part of coming to the Huntington Library was looking at all the beautiful gardens.
